Walking Forward’s production ‘The Price’ was launched in September 2003. Produced in association with Transport for London, the 33-week tour of London Borough Councils was premiered in front of London’s deputy mayor Jenny Jones and other dignitaries in Kensington and Chelsea on the 16th September.
Walking Forward have been working on the project since May 2002 after winning the bid to become TfL’s preferred company to write and produce a new initiative aimed at transitional years 11 – 13 year olds.
The show has been a huge success and has set a benchmark for the extremely high production values and unique approach to tackling the growing problem of transitional pupils’ attitudes to road safety. |
